Services and Fees
Childbirth Education:
My fee for each 5 week class series is $125
- If you register and pay in full at least two weeks prior to the start date you can take advantage of the early registration discount of $25.
Labor Doula:
I am available to attend births at Sacred Heart Hospital in Destin, Eglin Hospital (I have base access) and North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview. I am also available to attend births at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center but on a very limited basis. I am available to attend home births in Okaloosa County and Walton County as well as parts of Bay County for an additional fee for mileage.
Services Provided
- At least one prenatal visit (preferably two or three) to discuss your desires for birth and to decide how we will best work together to achieve those desires.
- Unlimited phone/e-mail support during pregnancy and immediate postpartum
- Assistance in creating a birth plan if desired
- Continuous labor support at home and/or hospital
- Emotional, physical, and informational support during labor, birth and postpartum
- Assistance in beginning breastfeeding if needed
- Breastfeeding support any time after the birth
- At least one postpartum visit within two weeks of the birth
- I will be on call for you 24/7 two weeks prior to your due date until the birth
- Access to my lending library of books, DVD's and CD's.
Fees
My fee is $550.
- $225 is due when you retain my services. This will hold your date in my calendar as I limit the number of clients I take on each month.
- $325 is due 4 weeks prior to your estimated due date.
**Payment plans/fees are negotiable depending on circumstance. Every pregnant woman deserves a doula!
What I do not do:
- Perform clinical tasks such as blood pressure, fetal heart checks or vaginal exams.
- Make decisions for you.
- Speak on your behalf to the medical staff concerning your care.
- Interfere with fathers and other birth partners during labor and birth.

Please contact me to set up an initial consultation. This will be an informal meeting to give you the opportunity to get to know me and to ask any questions you may have at this point. There is no fee for this meeting and you are not obligated in any way. Choosing a doula is a very personal and important decision. Be sure to interview more than one so that you are confident your personalities click and you will feel comfortable laboring with her as your support.
